Easy
Project using on old palette, skeleton key and wooden heart
The most difficult part of this project is breaking apart the palette. Before making this, I purchased the key at Hobby Lobby and the wooden heart at JoAnn's- both were 50% off. The key cost $12 and the heart cost $4.00. Palette-free
Supplies; Palette Wood, Nails, Glue, Ruler, Circular Saw, Wooden Heart, Skeleton Key, Hammer, Pencil
Place five pieces of palette wood together and cut two pieces of wood to fit the back and nail them onto the wood to hold it together. I cut off about eight inches of one end of the boards to better fit my key and heart.
This was a great rustic project to make to add to our screened porch mantel. For more information please see the link to my blog.
