Is putting a short retaining wall along house foundation a good idea?
Need to put up something along house foundation so I can plant some plants along it. Foundation should have more dirt put up along it anyway so was thinking a short retaining wall would help with that. Just not sure what type of barrier should/needs to go against foundation wall, as constant moisture for the plants could be an issue with foundation. Thanks for any help!

Make sure it doesn't reach up to or above the sill of your house--where the house frame meets the foundation. That exposes the frame of the building to damp damage and termites.
