Solar Standing Chandelier

13K
I have been wanting a solar chandelier for my garden for some time now. I had two main problems - I did not have a structure from which to hang a traditional chandelier, and, even if I did, the strong winds in this area would have prevented me from doing so.
That meant I had to become a little inventive. My 'standing solar chandelier' was the result.

@Dennis Waite I see that Mickie has kindly provided details of your local suppliers. It is a great product, and be used to repair damaged wrought iron furniture.

It is a shame you could not get pics of it lit up at night. Might try this.

@Valerie Unfortunately the night-time photograph did not turn out all that great. The white certainly stands out though ...

did you weight the bottom of the base with cement to make steadier? Love your idea but I think i'd add some weight with the winds that can come up here. Keep your ideas coming!

@Vickey Henning Thanks for the compliment - at this stage I have not added any additional weight as the base of the stand is fairly heavy. However, with the winds in mind, I have positioned it near the bench so that I can attach it to the bench (probably using cable ties) should the wind prove to be a problem.
