As usual, Hillela has posted the perfect website. For a slightly different approach, my contractor cut a piece of drywall the length and the width of our arched window and nailed that up. Then he used an electric saw that looked like an electric carving knife. He used the window frame for his guide to cut out the arched part. He trimmed a little closer after the big piece was out so the drywall fit the edge of the window nicely. Then he treated that part like the rest of the drywall with tape-and-bedding, then paint. You can't tell the difference today. Best wishes 😇

    Hi Jan,

Which way is it curved? Is it an arch window or a curved 'Bay' Window which juts out? Either way the methods are pretty straight forward and just need a little planning first. Can you upload a couple of photos so we can offer advice?

    Thanks

    Andrew
