Valentine's Day Heart Banner
I love Valentine's Day but I don't love spending a lot of money decorating for it. I've seen a few felt heart banners but they were around $13. My DIY banner only cost $1.75! Here is how I did it:
This is the finished project! A 7ft banner for only $1.75. Doesn't it look like love is in the air?
Here is what you will need: Scissors, 5 sheets of felt, white thread, sewing machine and twine.
I cut Large, Medium & small hearts out (free handed). I decided to alternate between the sizes when sewing them together.
I laid out how I was going to have the hearts organized on the banner and started sewing them together.
The great thing about making the banner yourself is you can make it as long or short as you want.You can cut slits on the ends to add twine to hang. Done!
