    yes, i would call a local carpet installer..sometimes they will send someone to correct it at a resonable price

    Everything will need to be removed and the carpet restretched. Peggy is right. Hire a professional. They have the experience and tools.

    Your carpeting has "relaxed" and just needs tightening. Depending on where the ripples are, you may not have to move much furniture. Call a company with a good reputation.
