I was going to suggest a blue gray but looks like you have gray so perhaps a soft green, it is a relaxing color and would go well with your furniture as well as the blue accessories and also could brighten your bathroom. I too have wallpaper that is going to have to come down before I can paint our master bath. Check out the color visualizer on Sherwin Williams webpage it helps greatly when you see the color on a wall in a picture instead of just seeing a tiny paint chip! Good luck

Boy thats gonna be a lot of wallpaper stripping, What colors do you like? I could see a soft yellow or a beautiful aqua. I could see you choosing a darker shade for behind the bed for some drama.

The bathroom really needs a facelift. Is that dark grey a faux painting or tile? Again what colors do you love. When I am doing a job for a client, I get paint chips and we hang them on the wall for at least a week to see what the client can live with. Not only do you have to consider color but also intensity of the color, i.e. pastel vs. saturated color.

When I redid my tiny bath, I had this beautiful shower curtain in pinks and greens and I used that to select a pink paint color. I got coordinating towels in the green, and a deep pink shag rug. Pink, believe it or not, is very flattering to skin color, and that was one of the reasons I chose pink. Previously, it was a washed out blue and I always looked sallow (yellow) in the mirror. This is a reason to be careful with the shade of blue or green you pick for a bathroom.

I am getting ready to repaint, and am choosing a turquoise, again selecting the color from a new shower curtain I've brought.

I would definitely, put a bright white frame around that mirror, maybe move it over to be under the light fixture, and change your light fixture. If grey is your thing, I would do a much lighter shade of it.

And if you don't love that shower enclosure, I would remove it and hang a shower curtain with a liner for a bit of drama. This will help you chose your towel and rug colors. Maybe even help you decide what color to paint.

Choose a pattern you love for your curtains or bedspread. Pick a colour from the pattern for your walls. You could use the same colour in the bathroom, or another coordinating colour from the pattern.

Avoid green if you will be applying makeup.

It's ub to your taste, but avoid flashy colours such as red, herd yellow, sweet pink, ... and dark colours such as black, dark green, dark blue, dark red, ... These will stimulate for flashy colours the "excitment" part of your brain, and for dark colours the "depressing" part of your brain. Prefer soft colours, and any smooth paint. It will help you relax...

Psychologists say to paint your master bedroom a calm soothing color that appeals to you. This is your relaxation spot -- so save the eye-catching décor for another room, too. The bath should compliment the bedroom color and also go with the more permanent features like your tile or other fixtures. When I'm picking a bedroom color and the paint chips overwhelm me, I think, "What color makes me think, ahhh?"

Pick a theme. Then go with colors that make your theme more noticeable. For example: I love the beach, so my wall colors are a darker sand shade. I like an accent wall (in most all my rooms) as well, so I chose a funky kinda sunset orange. Then continue your theme with special decor items, bringing your wall shades out. I have shells (all sizes) & some homemade signs. That's the best way. Because it's your bedroom, make sure your colors are toned down to a relaxed color. It'll help you get a great night's sleep 😴.

I love shades of gray, especially bluish gray. They are like neutrals, in that you can add most any color to it for contrast. Good luck removing the wallpaper! I agree with one of the other comments, pick your bedding & curtains first then choose a complimentary color. I would do the bathroom in a very light gray so it will go with the bedroom and reflect more light in the bathroom. Good luck!!
