Bread Box With Bling

Do you have a boring old bread box? Do you like to add a bit of color in your home? What about bling? I finally found a bread box for myself and gave it a total face lift in a fun turquoise blue color and added mercury glass knobs too. Check out how I took my bread box from boring to an eye catching piece of art in my kitchen.
here is the boring wood bread box, i like it because it has storage at the top but now I have tried it, I am not sure what to put in there ;)
I chose APC paint in shoreline blue, a pretty turquoise color
and here it is with 2 coats of paint, a coat of clear wax and topped off with a coat of white wax to add dimension. Full details of how I achieved this project are found at my blog post link below
I had 2 sets of knobs to choose from, the other were teal porcelain round knobs with an old world look. I polled my followers and the sparkly ones won. I love the mercury glass knobs as a bit of bling is needed in every girls kitchen, right?
