Mix pine sol & water 50/50 in a sprayer. Spray periodically, flies HATE it.
The pine sol trick never worked for me, even at full strength. I have 2 outdoor fans set on low in the food/dining area. Flies do not like a breeze. Has been quite effective - at least in my yard.
