Board and Batten Style #Entryway

We finally jumped on board and built our "board and batten" entryway! We have a super awkward wall RIGHT as you walk in the door. That, combined with a weird angled wall and the fact that you open right into our living room and, well, we needed a place for our guests to hang their coats and bags! A cute little shelf on top didn't hurt- I love to have a place to set pictures and mementos!
All finished! Love these hooks and that shelf...just waiting to be styled.
Hand-drawn "blueprints" and just about the right amount of math that my brain can handle. :)
This shows the height a little more. We are IN LOVE with our previously useless wall now!
