Spring was crazy so were behind. When is too late to plant tomatoes?

Depends on where you live. If you have a short season, choose a variety that has the shortest days to maturity. If in a place with a longer season, go ahead and plant what you wish. I am in So. CA and I just planted a few more to have tomatoes into the fall.

Don't know where you live, but in my opinion, you can plant tomatoes any time during the growing period where you live. Here in Texas we put tomato plants out in late July to end of August for a fall crop.

If you live in a shorter season you would need to get the larger plants and you should be fine.
