How do you know which fertilizers to use on which plants?

    I like Osmocote for indoor and outdoor plants. Just sprinkle some pellets around the base of the plant. (Follow the directions on the container). I also add some to the soil when I'm repotting a plant.

    On every package of fertilizer the label will tell you what plants it is suited for. But if you want to get the most out of your fertilizer, seek the help of the Ortho Problem solver. It's a huge refrence guide to all sorts of questions on plants and sugestions for fixing them. You can usually find them anywhere Ortho products are sold.
