Hi Lmorgan3987- I use jar or glass of some type, add cider vinegar until the glass is about 1/4 full. Cover the glass with Saran/plastic wrap and secure with a rubberband (I've also used masking tape). Use a toothpick, or anything small & sharp to poke about a dozen holes in the top and leave it wherever you are experiencing the gnats. They are attracted to the vinegar and can get into the glass thru your holes in the top but can't seem to get out.

Place bowls of apple cider vinegar covered with saran wrap and pie small holes in it.
