Try bird netting
We have a couple of blueberry bushes of great interest to the birds when the berries begin to ripen. Each year I make a temporary frame using 1/2 inch PVC pipe and joints. I cover the frame with bird netting sold by the big home improvement stores in their garden section. I just wire the netting to the frame and then sit back and watch the birds' futile attempts to get at the blueberries.
Any home improvement store will have what you need. There is quite a variety, I just would choose one with a fine mesh, that still les sun through.
You can buy mesh by the yard at Walmart, Joannes or Hancock fabric stores.
