How do you keep snakes off your property? The snakes here are venomous.

Belle, it may not be fashionable, but buy each person in your family thick farm or hunting boots, and insist they wear them Outside. I realize rattlers and others can find a nice resting place on your back porch, in boots left outside, and under your car, but vigilance is the best security. Read and try other tips, but always be alert. Best wishes 😇
Cats and Dogs will usually keep snakes out of your yard. Just a natural deterrent. I have heard that mothballs are a deterrent too!
There are products that are available at garden centers that repel snakes and they work.
I've heard moth balls keep them away
