My Unordinary Valentine - Recycling Scraps of Wood Trim

A great way to use up those little pieces of trim that you always seem to have left over.
Put them together to make a non traditional Valentine plaque.
My Unordinary Valentine
Start by drawing your valentine on lauan.
Begin adding your trim scraps to cover the heart shape. Some go horizontal and some vertical.
Add a burlap flower with a Christmas bulb top flattened and a vintage bingo piece as the center.

Love it and what a great idea! I found this really cool horse made from reclaimed wood at a "junk store" and put in my booth at a local antique shop. Similar. I love this stuff!

@Sherry Knott Let me think about it. You know us crafters, aren't happy until we can make one ourselves.

Beverly, Oh do I ever! I'm one of those, too! With the one you made I'm certain you could do this horse!
