How do you get birds to stop pecking at my windows?

    I have the same issue every spring and early summer. I found out the reason is because they see their reflection...which they think is a rival. The only way to get them to stop is to stop the reflection or scare them out of your yard.

    I close my drapes which helps. I find it is only a certain part of the day that they see their reflection. I also get my dog to go out and chase them.

    A PLASTIC OWL might work also.

    I had a cardinal that about drove me crazy last year pecking on my french doors! I have resolved the problem by placing an owl statue by the doorway. He went away and I was able to remove the statue.
