Mix 1 tablespoon of salt with a gallon of water and spray directly onto the leaves. Your plant will thank you!

NEVER HAVE PUT IT EPSOM SALT ON GARDEN, BUT HAVE USED IT AROUND MY ROSES FOR EVER.

JUST PUT IT IN THE SOIL AROUND THE PLANTS OR IN THE GROUND BEFORE YOU PLANTING. THIS SHOULD DO WHAT YOU WANT IT FOR, IT DOESN'T HURT ROSES EVEN IF IT TOUCHES THEM, SO I DOUBT THAT IT WOULD HURT YOUR PLANTS.

Epsom salt adds magnesium to the soil, it will help set blooms on plants. you can use it as in the comments above, or sprinkle a table spoon or so at the base of the plant.
