Nasty particleboard bathroom vanity
My vanity is old, ugly and has obviously soaked up some water at some point, so it's swollen and disgusting. I need to replace it, but can't afford the new ones at the home shops so have been looking for an old dresser small enough. Once I get it though, how do I cut it in such a way as to allow for the plumbing, when it will have drawers instead of cupboards? P.S. I do want drawers, which is why I'm shooting for a dresser.

Make sure that you are looking at a height of at least 29" for your dresser. I used a jig and a sawzall to make my cuts and I ended up "splitting" my drawers for the project, so I framed out to sides of the one drawer. My vanity has one drawer front, but when it opens, there are two drawers on either side.

You could find a vanity type dresser with the holes on the side and use a vessel sink
