Getting old is not for sissies. My husband is your age and he finally started hiring a man to cut the grass But we need a handiman for many jobs, now. May I add to @Shoshana's advice, consider having whoever is going to paint your deck to add sand or grit to the paint sealer for more traction. Best wishes and don't overdo ๐Ÿ˜‡

Don't use the stuff from Home Depot that adds texture and is supposed to last 5 years. On the exposed part of the deck where it is not covered that stuff didnt last a year. Very expensive and a pain to work with. Now my deck looks horrible and needs painted. Pressure washing finished taking the rest off. I know someone else that used it and she complained and the company refunded her money plus the cost of the special rollers. I couldnt find my receipt and it was before they automatically saved them.
