What are some ideas to revamp an old, large water fountain?

I have a large, black, concrete water fountain, that no longer works but I'd like to keep for display! So far I've picked up black spray paint to cover the worn spots, but I'd love to hear other ideas! It's two tiers (One large, one small) with a tall (about 4 feet) cylindrical fish that sticks from the top.

We turned mine into a bird bath. We kept it a regu concrete color and we maintain it weekly.
Well they have great paints now with awesome colors and glues that came hold anything together. My idea would be some color and glue on some glass rocks or tiles to it . Something old is new and sparkley again.
You can also plant it with perennial succulents for a focal point in the garden.
A planter is a wonderful idea - maybe even with a small water feature.
