Yes, it will bear fruit. I have had my lemon tree for 4 years now. My lemon tree is inside for the most part but during the summer I do leave it outdoors. My lemon tree seems to have fewer leaves than others I've seen but I still get between 9-12 lemons a year. Although it takes a while to fully develop, the flowers smell amazing and its fun to see the fruit ripen.

Yes Patricia, your lemon tree will bear fruit. I would suggest that you use a roll around base and a large pot. That way you can easily move the tree around your home.

I live in Canada and have had miniature fruit trees for many years. For first few years mine would flower and never bare fruit. I talked with an older gardener at our garden nursery and he suggested using Alum (you know the stuff used to keep your cucumber pickles from going soft) He suggested 2 tablespoons per gallon of water. worked like magic. I also put my trees out during the hottest part of our summer. Only problem with this is that they do so well, hard to time spot for them with new growth. I know terrible problem to have. Good luck with your trees the flowers are worth the time-smell heavenly.

i have several citrus trees that i keep outside from april thru nov as i live in zone 7

most of them do not need a buddy to male fruit they are self pollinating but i do like to let the bees buzz around and help

lemon trees will usually lose all leaves if kept indoors in the winter dont freak out
