Hair Accessory Storage

Here is a fast and cost effective way to store all of your hair accessories.
I started with the back (or inside) of my bedroom door.....
And with only an $8.00 crocheted table runner from WalMart and plastic adhesive back hooks from the dollar store I am going to create much needed storage!
I started by attaching 4 of the hooks towards the top of where I wanted my storage to be, and hung the top of the table runner to them.
Then I just worked my way down the sides, pulling it tight and attaching more hooks until I ran out of hooks :) This only took about 10 minutes. Now it's time to hang my hair accessories.
I wanted to arrange them by color
As you can see, you can put clips, combs and hairpins on this. It took a lot of weight!
And now my hair accessories are neat and organized. No more broken clips stuck in drawers! I freed up precious space in my bathroom drawers as well! Win Win!! :)
Suggested materials:
  • Crocheted table runner   (WalMart $8.00)
  • Adhesive back plastic hooks   (Dollar store $1.00)

I have been doing this for years, another pretty idea is to use a crochet/lace type shawl and atttach to wall for hair items. Very pretty!

This is a pretty fun and clever project idea! My roommate is driving me crazy with all her hair accessories! That lady has more hair accessories than anyone I've ever met! It's true; her luscious hair is enough reason for me to go green with envy, LOL (I love her, though), but her little colorful bling-bling pieces and rhinestone crap drive me nuts! I find them in places I didn't know our apartment had, hahaha! Working at a hair loss clinic on https://goo.gl/maps/iS5HPMLozPDjZxrJ7, I've seen amazing results after hair transplants. But her natural hair is just a real-life treasure!
