Styling a Vintage Toolbox

I have an obsession with vintage toolboxes so i thought I would share the many ways I've styled them in my home. You can find these at your local home stores, thrift stores, antique stores, and even garage sales! They are so popular right now! Or you can build your own.
This one was built from two fence post ends, some trim, and a spindle and painted white then distressed. So easy, and so cheap! I threw some antique rolling pins in it with a cloth napkin from world market, and it's all styled for a kitchen setting!
We stained this toolbox that we found at an antique store and I display my vintage cookbooks in it. This is in the kitchen as well!
As you can see, I like to move my toolboxes around depending on my decor mood. This one is seen as a centerpiece to our dining table and on a bench in our bathroom. You can use some faux floral stems in them and you're good to go.
Or, you can add some mason jars and fresh flowers and you have a beautiful, summer centerpiece. To see more of my styling tips and DIYs, visit my blog!
