Turn those plain white gift boxes into works of art! This DIY painted gift box tutorial is so pretty that you can scrap the gift wrap paper!
It's the gifting season and decorating your gift boxes can be both simple and pretty. With a few paint strokes, you can create a gift worthy box!
Start by applying your light base coat. I used DecoArt paints which worked fabulously. Great drying time and for those who have very little time to craft, this paint works wonders. Paint your strokes with alternating colors. I did about 3 strokes per color in various directions.
Finish by adding a few golden touches using the back side of your paint brush.
Let dry completely, takes about 10 minutes, and place your gift inside. These are modern, chic, and will be sure to impress the recipient! Check out more DIY projects on my blog Casa Watkins Living.
