Can I use shredded leaves from last year as compost?

  • I use dead leaves for mine and they are breaking down great. My neighbor is a chef and has a huge garden. She will have leaves bagged and brought to her yard for composting

    Definitely! It can start as a mulch but should turn into a great organic soil amendment

    Absolutely! Your garden will benefit this year and next. At the end of the season after the garden has been cleaned out and some more leaves and some lime. The lime will help decomposs and and nutrients like calcium to your soil.
