How to paint an indoor window to look like stained glass?

After an addition was added we now have a kitchen window over the sink that sees only the boards for the new room. I would like to paint the glass to look like stained glass and so that you can't see the boards behind it. There will be no light behind the window.

Hobby Lobby carries stained glass paint for just such an application
Make sure the glass paint is opaque. Some are rather clear. Use a good brush. OR, since in this photo it looks like the glass is smooth, you could choose a nice window cover decal. They sell them at home stores. Much less mess and work.
