The first thing to do is to go through it all and decide what you really want to keep and donate the rest. There are all kinds of pretty storage baskets you can buy that will help you to organize in your pantry. There are dufferent types of organizers you can buy to help with closets.

The best way,for me,if this is a big task, I would start small, and organize a little area and go from there...so not to become overwhelmed. Another thing I do is every time I have to leave a room I pick something up to put back..then I feel like I'm at least doing something.

Hi, The thought of organizing your "stuff" can be quite overwhelming. I would suggest starting with a drawer. Yep, pick a drawer, any drawer, kitchen, bedroom, what ever drawer you want. Go through it and get rid of anything you don't use, or haven't used in over a year. If it's a dresser you start with, designate each drawer for a particular item. Sock/undies, T-shirts, Shorts etc... Once you've mastered, lets say your dresser drawer, move on to the next drawer. Before you know it, the whole dresser is organized. If you have a lot of stuff on top, put your "stuff" in a container. Loose change, use a neat jar or some sort of container. The main thing is not to have a lot of clutter. The next time you go for certain T-shirt, you'll know right where it is! You're not only organizing the drawer, but your saving a lot of time not looking for things! Once you've completed all your drawers, move on to a closet. Then cupboards etc... The key is designating certain areas for certain things.

Just remember, you don't have to do it all at one time, but I think you'll find, once you start, you'll want to make time to move forward!

    Hope this helps!
