water plants for ponds.I would start with three and see if you have any more room.
Don't forget to buy some cheap goldfish to keep the mosquito larva at bay. In Raleigh, this tub will probably freeze and you'll need to restart in the spring. Consider the mature size of the plants or you'll overgrow your tub. Don't get more than 1 of anything.
https://www.pondmegastore.com/shop/home.php?cat=286 the 290009 with a liner of landscaping cloth works well leave the top above water level by 2+ inches - you can set up on bricks - a very small 'bubbler ( Lowes, etc ) will help with mosquito larvae as they can't tolerate moving water -- or use the Mosquito Dunks -- even 1/2 of one would be sufficient --
Notice your location --- you'll probably need to pull your plants for the winter -
check out the 'tropical bog plants -- which is what you are really building is a 'bog' not so much a 'pond' --- and there are curved baskets as well -- it will be beautiful!!
