So far this summer I have shared 2 of 4 new watermelon recipes at DomesticallyBlissful.com! And now I finally have a use for the pretty green outside layer of the watermelon!

Create your own Floral Watermelon Vase for your home or summer party! Plus unique recipes for leftover watermelon!
This project is crazy easy & if you want to know the fall inspiration behind it, be sure to click below to read the post & see the whole tutorial.

This project is so simple, I feel silly sharing a tutorial!

But I had a lot of fun making the video & enjoying this beautiful bouquet!
First, slice off a small piece at the bottom of the watermelon so that it will sit flat & not roll over. ***

Turn the watermelon right side up & use your knife to create the mouth of the watermelon vase.

Use your ice cream scoop to scoop out all of the watermelon for later enjoyment.

Carefully scrape out any remaining watermelon so that there is just the rind left. Then rinse it out & fill it with water.

Cut & arrange your flowers & enjoy your new summer watermelon centerpiece!
