I found this on one of the composite decking sites
when paint is dry: use 100% acetone (e.g., nail polish remover) and dilute with tap water at max 50/50, with rag vigorously wipe
then - since paint will have been spread around (looking like a stain) - use Goo Gone and finish the rest until clean, is now nearly spotless
I would use Goof Off. Try it in an inconspicuous place first to see if it affects the decking material.
Call or email the manufacturer.
xx of Off doesn't work but maybe OOPS might work. We are going to try that today. I am a little nervous about acetone on trex decking. Thank you for the idea. Have you actually used it on Trex deck materials? I splattered an entire gallon of pink paint on the trex deck. Not a happy husband!!!
