Taping and putting joint compound on drywall isn't hard at all. Apply some joint compound in a thin layer to the seems and then put the tape on. Put another layer of joint compound over the tape and make it as smokth as possible. The smoother you put the joint compound on the easier it will be to sand. After it's dry sand it smooth. Easy peasy
Love the video. I don't use paper tape. I use the mesh tape. Sticky on one side. No initial mud needed. I also never sand. I put just enough compound all I need is to scrape any high spots and over with a damp sponge to smooth it out.
