I just finished this last evening. The jeans were donated, I used 2 yards of cotton fabric and 10 pairs of jeans. The fringe was from an old suede coat I found in the closet. The loom I found at a site where a home was being demolished. I do not know if it was a window frame but it was lyning near the dumpster, so now it is my square loom. I used a finishing nail, eye hooks and wooden dowels ( I recommend a metal dowel, now after having my loom fall over and break the wooden ones!)

Probably a little harder than ta dah but give that site a look. Hope that helps.
Depending on the style, you may not even need a look. You can use the rags with crochet hooks. Large gage. Go in a circle or oval.
