My trees are planted close & the limbs overlap . Is this good or bad?

One is evergreen and one is deciduous. One is older and the new er one planted was too close

    no ,they will have to be pruned

    Move the newer one now. They will continue to crowd as they mature.

    It is very bad for trees to grow into each other and block out the sun light both of them should get trimmed by a professional especially if both are tall

    Look at the trees in the woods. Spacing is no issue. The issue is how you want them to look and how their placement affects your hardscape or structures.

    If you come at it from that perspective your answer should be easier to come up with.
