How old is your tree? Try using fertilizer spikes around the base of the tree.

Fertilizing it on a regular basis will keep it healthy. If it has been grown from a see it will take lonher to have fruit. Be patient!

In Brazil we hammer a nail inside the trunk and beat a little. This may sound cruel, but the sap will be full of healing proteins that will eventually go to the branches's ends and flowers. Do not forget to leave alone your bats and butterflies, because the pollinize them.

Did you start it from seed or buy a tree?

Water it frequently with an occasional deep soak. Soil should be moist but not saturated. We like to dig a post hole next to the tree (about 5 ft away) and fill with gravel and a stand pipe. A hose put down the pipe and allowed to water slowly helps saturate the ground better. Once the tree is in the ground, you have 5-13 years before you will get fruit. If you bought a tree you need to wait 3-5 years before you get fruit.

    I hope that helps
