You want to steer clear of E-6000 as it stinks for 72 hours. Gorilla glue turns yellow. A lot of people love lock-tite. This site might help.

I've used E6000, but didn't really notice a prolonged odor. However, while it holds up well outside, it's not permanent and I have had to re-glue after a year or so. To be fair, I don't have to re-glue everything that I've bonded with E6000 so it may be my application. Having said all that, it's not my favorite choice anymore. Right now I'm in the Loctite boat and have found one that bonds almost immediately. So far I'm liking it. Gorilla glue is very good and there are many varieties, but I only use it in areas that will not be visable (so if it does yellow it won't bother me).

Both of the websites previously mentioned are good resources. Keep in mind what surfaces you're trying to glue and your climate over the course of the year as it can affect adhesion. I live in a very humid summer; mild winter climate (central west coast of Florida - New Port Richey).

Lisa, I can't answer your question, but I just wanted to comment that I grew up in PC! High Five! (Wish I still lived there. I miss the beach and all the delicious seafood!)

I use Locite all purpose GO2 glue for all my glue glass outdoor birdbaths and garden angel . Used it for years. Extra durable and stays clear.

I also recommend E6000. I've used it to create glass towers and plate flowers with multiple pieces of glued glass hanging vertically. Some of these have been in the garden for as long as three years, and last week it was 112 degrees.

I have used E6000 and clear silicone sealant on glass garden angels. The E6000 won.

I found that the Gorilla glue works very will to withstand the outdoor elements.

    Hope this helps! :)
