Build or purchase a windmill and let the dogs run - a lot - they do not like the vibration and will tunnel elsewhere.
I often find mole tunnels in the spring but letting my dogs play in the yard once the snow melts usually gets rid of the moles. (And sometimes one dog catches herself a crunchy treat.) I think the moles soon learn the dogs are predators.
I read that spreading Milky Spore on the lawn will kill the grubs that the moles feed on. This will, however, take a few applications to work.
Sprinkle Moth Balls in the area, and on the same paths that the holes, or their trail is on. This will help you, and this is NOT harmful to them, tho they hate the smell. As long as it works, that is great. Take care, J.
