What can I do to get rid of ants in my potted vegetables?

People swear by cornmeal. I have never used it but certainly worth a try.

ants hate cinnamon. Sprinkle in the pot and if not noticeable on the ground around them.

I use Bifen XTS - I have livestock as well as cats and dogs and it's safe for them and humans.

Hello Jill. Grits will get rid of your Ants, and will do such quickly!!! The Ants will take the Grits back to their home, and some will eat the Grits which will kill them.

Also, Grits will not harm anyone, or your plants!!!

Just be sure to keep adding new grits after it rains or after watering.
