5 Recycled Blue Jean Projects

I took 3 pairs of old jeans and re-fashioned 3 different skirts, a rag rug, and a cute denim purse. All of these were super easy to do and don't require advanced sewing skills. To take a better look at what I did, visit the link :)

I always love ideas to reuse blue jeans. At Christmas time, I made Christmas stockings out of them and trimmed them with pieces of old flannel shirts.

The rug you show is very much like the dog bed I made for the dog house. Just used denim fabric on the back and stuffed with cedar shavings. The dog LOVES it! Used the pant legs that I had clipped and saved for years. I also had a bag that was the back side of the pants and a mobile phone fit perfectly into the pocket.
