handle placement is a matter of preference. Most pro's carry a jig for this. I believe you can buy one at Lowe's or home depot
Yes...you can buy a small plastic template at your local home center that lets you mark a spot that will be the same on every cabinet so your knobs and handles will line up perfectly
Handles with two holes go vertical on doors and horizontal on drawers and knobs go in lower left or right corner according to how door swings open and in middle of drawer. Make your self a template out of metal so you can mark each door perfectly
Jusy make sure the placement is consistent throughout all the doors.
You can use a level to make sure that its evenly placed across both doors best of luck!!
