How do I keep my clothes smelling out of the wash fresh while hanging?

    Are you talking about clothes that is being stored? Are they being hung where it is musty?

    I'm not sure I understand your question, but if you are referring to clothes smelling badly after coming out of the washer (new HE washers are known for this after use for a while), there are several methods to clean the washer . . . just check online. I did that and about every other wash, I pour distilled white vinegar into the fabric softener holder prior to washing. It does not stain your clothes nor leave a vinegar smell, but I've not had smelly clothes come out of the washer since.

    put dryer sheets on shelves of closets. also can thread them on hangers. put in toes of shoes, take out to wear.
