I love Rudebecias, says they love part shade, anyone have experience?

    They will produce more flowers in full sun,but will tolerate part shade

    They will how anywhere, and will multiply by seed. I started out with 1 plant, and have moved them to other gardens, given them to friends, family, and even strangers if they happen to be walking by. I'm now just tossing them over the back fence when they get overcrowded. And they are growing there with no care, no soul ammendmental, and are literally growing in Cape Cod beach sand.

    Depends where you live. In deep south, probably do need substantial shade.

    I have grown them in full sun and part shade and they did well both places in CT.
