What do I need to know to care for plants?

Most plants come with a little card that gives care instructions. If you don't have those, you should be able to google your specific plantscare instructions.

Most plants like some sun and need good drainage. Water until the soil is wet and then allow soil to dry out before watering again. If your leaves turn yellow, that generally means too much water. If your leaves turn brown, that generally means too much sun. If your leaves begin to get limp, that generally means not enough water.

hello. You might start out by looking at where in your house they will live. For example, how much sun or light will it get. How much care or watering am I willing to do? How much. Travel do you do. Are you away for long periods of time. How big will it grow. And lastly, if you have pets plant something that isn't toxic to your pet. Go to the internet and search for plants that can thrive in that environment. Easier that you think. Also there are plants that can grow entirely in water.

Visit your local library for dozens of books on gardening. Then go to your local nursery and talk to the people there. Always Google, too. Sue was correct about the talc. Good luck! :-)
