Am assuming molding is white, and nails are not..first, ascertain what is forcing the nails to appear..moisture??? or perhaps the wood has dried out, and shrunk..depending on how badly they are protruding..I would with an artist paint brush just lightly touch up each nail head and wait a few seasons..to see if they continue rising, or receding..when activity stops, you could wipe on white poly fill...I am just a homemaker using my common sense..perhaps a carpenter would have a more professional idea..but not for free Roz
Easy Fill with wood filler, sand and paint. Good Luck!
It sounds like you did not climatize the moulding (let it sit 24 hours in the room prior to the installation. You might try driving the nail heads in deeper.
Yes wait a little longer if within warranty and see if it's due to humidity and climate change. It's to be ecpected.
Thanks, but I did. The crown molding went up at least after being in my home for (3) months-maybe not long enough.
God's Best!
