Working in the yard today, I spotted a fearsome-looking insect...but this is one of the good guys.

Wheel bugs prey on Japanese beetles, caterpillars and stinkbugs, so I left him alone. Another good reason not to handle him - the proboscis he uses to snack on insects is sharp....he'll stab your hand if you grab him!

I just came across what might be the most 'NON' Designed To Sell home in America.

You MUST see this home. Just click on the link and look at the photos. I would love to hear your feedback.

smell the mildew in the basement rooms. Not that it looked dirty, just reminded me of the days when a basement room was musty.

Outdoor Living: I want to change the color of the wall tile in my bath from yellow to white and was told that I could tile over the old

ones. Does that sound like a good idea?

I had my bathroom tiled for the first time in an older home 35 yrs ago. I will never ever ...»
wish for a white bathroom again. Hardest thing in the world to keep clean. I can't tell you about how to do the tiling but reconsider your color choice.

Hi Cindy. Do you have pets? Households with pets, especially multiple cats or large dogs, ...»
will clog vents if you do not change your furnace filter every one to 3 months. You should be able to see the same amount of light through the furnace filter as you did when new, otherwise time to chance and NOT when it looks so clogged over that you cant even see the screening material
