Native California plant garden

Our garden is long & somewhat narrow. Measuring about 80' long, running across the back of the house and 15' deep from the edge of the deck back to the common area fence. On each side of ...»
the house we have plantings - one side is the shade garden & the other is a veggie garden. Some of the native plants we used are Sage (a couple of varieties), Manzanita, Ceanothus, Canyon Prince, Matilija Poppies, Wooly Blue Curls and Coyote Mint. Hope this all makes sense!

Closet Reading Nook

When it was time to move our daughter into her "Big Girl Room," I wanted to have a fun place for her to read. There just happened to be two closets, and we only needed one, so by removing some shelves and securing a bench, we were able to create a fun reading nook for her. It turned out great and she loves it! Thanks for letting me share :)
