depends what kind of spot it is and what its from, if its a water spot, try rubbing ashes into it, it actually works to hide it, do this a couple of times, then wax over, if it is a paint spot, obviously you have to take it off, if it is lifted, you can take a straight edge blade and very carefully get under one corner and pull it off, then lightly sand and possibly use one of those pens that are used to fix a mark, they come in several stain colors. hope this helps

put them in your bathtub with water in the tub and leave them, they will water themselves from the bottom up and can last quite a while this way

Take an empty water bottle. Puncture the lid with a LARGE nail. Fill with water - push into the soil.

As far as drying the hydrangea flowers I have no idea. Trimming should be done in the spring to take out the branches that have no buds and are dead. That is what I have always done to mine as I don't want to have it any shorter as it is like a tree and helps with bathroom privacy along with my honey suckle outside of the bathroom window. That way I can have the window open and not have to close the shade and block the air coming in.

We prune ours back to the ground in February and they come back huge every spring. Cut while in full bloom, tie stems together, hang upside down in a dry place for several weeks.
