How do I remove old lanolum from floors?

    A Flathead shovel works best. There is most likely glue under it. This would prove more difficult to remove. Depending on what you plan to do and how many layers there are, you could work over the top of it. There is also the consideration that if it's been there for a while it may be Asbestos and better to leave alone and work over the top of it

    just lay over the top. ..fill in gouges w taping compound

    Use a blow dryer to loosen the glue and a shovel to get it up.
