I have a large koi pond (20'x6'). Trying to decorate around it.

    edging with rock, ornamental grasses would look nice. Small Asian concrete statuary focal point would fit in.

    It's already gorgeous! You did a fantastic job. Using Gma Kirk's suggestions would enhance the beauty. Are you able to add another water feature such as a fountain (water spout) in the center?

    does it have water plants?, add a couple of benches add maybe daylillys,Iris,large stones, a path going around it? Add a photo it'll be easier to visualize.

    Ours is about the same size, approximately 2000 gallons. We put 2 columns of cinder blocks in the middle of the pond with a large random shape flat stone on top about 10 inches below the surface. There are 4 or 5 pots on top of the 'bridge' planted with bog water plants and striders

    ....an island. The fish sometimes like to cool themselves under it.

    There are many large leafed hostas that look wonderful around a pond...they look lush and need no care except to be cut down in the fall!
