When shower grout turns dark when wet does it mean it needs sealing ?

    It sounds like the grout is not drying out and yes, you should seal it, but wait until it dries completely.

    No it's fine,will always dry back same goes for floor tiles there all the same they will dry ,Hope this helps 😙

    Yes it needs sealing you can buy a spray on sealer at Home Depot. It's very easily done just follow the directions. I always do it a little bit more often then recommended if it says do it every six months I would do it every four months just to be safe

    Some grout has a sealer additive already in the mix. If this isnt the case with yours, you should allow grout to dry completely, clean it with a small rotary wire brush (a little Dremel works great!). Then apply sealer. Keep in mind the lighter the grout the more it darkens simply from the humidity of the shower.
